Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Shadarc at https://shadarc.com (“Shadarc”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Shadarc.

1. The service

Shadarc is a web app for creating, scheduling, and publishing TikTok photo slideshows to TikTok accounts you connect.

Shadarc is an independent service and is not operated by or affiliated with TikTok. Publishing and account integrations use TikTok’s APIs and are subject to TikTok’s applicable terms and policies.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract. You must comply with TikTok’s terms and community guidelines for every account you connect.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your login, for everyone who uses it, and for telling us if it is used without you. Keep your email accurate.

4. TikTok connections

When you connect a TikTok account, you authorize Shadarc to use the permissions you approve to:

  • identify the connected account and display account information;
  • retrieve account statistics and video information where enabled;
  • send content to TikTok for publishing or further editing;
  • publish scheduled content when Direct Post is available for your account and our integration.

TikTok may impose restrictions on content published through third-party applications, including limiting visibility while an integration is undergoing review or audit.

You can disconnect a TikTok account in Settings → Connections. We will remove the connection from Shadarc and, where supported, revoke the associated authorization with TikTok. Disconnecting does not remove content that has already been published to TikTok.

You remain responsible for content published to TikTok through Shadarc and for compliance with TikTok’s terms and policies.

5. Your content and rights

You keep rights in text, images, and captions you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, render, and transmit them only to run the service (including sending them to TikTok when you publish).

You must have the right to use every image, face, trademark, and TikTok account you put into Shadarc. Third-party or stock content made available through Shadarc may be subject to separate license terms imposed by its provider. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of that content complies with those terms and applicable law.

Do not upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that violates TikTok’s rules.

6. Our content

The Shadarc name, logo, product UI, Templates, and platform code are ours. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You do not get a right to copy the platform, scrape Template catalogs for a competing product, or reverse engineer the service.

7. AI-generated text

Slideshow copy may be generated by models we call. You are responsible for reviewing it before it is posted. We do not guarantee uniqueness, accuracy, or that TikTok will distribute it.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Some Shadarc features require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown when you subscribe. Unless you cancel, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period using your selected payment method.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you may continue using your paid plan until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Refunds follow our Refund policy, including a 14-day money-back window on paid charges, except where required by applicable law.

We may change subscription prices or plan features. If a price change affects an existing subscription, we will provide notice before the new price applies.

If a payment fails, we may retry the payment, restrict paid features, or suspend the subscription until payment is completed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Payments

Paid plans are monthly software subscriptions. Prices are in USD. Taxes are calculated at checkout. Unused monthly generation allowance does not roll over.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar Software, Inc. (https://polar.sh). Polar is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Polar provides checkout, invoicing, and handles returns.

By completing a paid checkout you also accept our Refund policy. Refunds: 14 days from the payment date, full refund of that charge. Cancel anytime; cancellation stops renewal and is not itself a refund.

The Free plan is provided by Shadarc in-app and is not sold through Polar.

10. Availability

The service is provided as-is. Features may change. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, TikTok, or these Terms.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shadarc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost reach, loss of data, account restrictions, or actions taken by TikTok.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shadarc’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Shadarc during the 3 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version at /terms. Continued use after the update is acceptance.
