API keys

API keys let coding agents call Shadarc as you. They are not TikTok tokens.

API keys and the MCP server are included with Starter and Pro. If you move to Free, your existing keys stop working until you upgrade again.

Create

1. Open studio → Settings → API keys.
2. Name the key.
3. Create. Copy shd_live_… once. We do not show it again.
4. List shows the prefix and last used. Revoke with confirm.

Send Authorization: Bearer shd_live_… on https://api.shadarc.com/mcp. Same credits and caps as the studio. Revoked keys stop working.

Connect an agent

Copy the setup prompt from Settings → API keys or the MCP page into your agent. Keep the key in the SHADARC_API_KEY environment variable; the agent's config reads it from there.

Do not paste keys into chat or this page: chats can end up in logs and transcripts. If you did, create a new key and revoke the old one. Rotate by revoking and creating a new one.
